Longitudinal research on the quality of life of European citizens in the Netherlands

In 2024, Risbo has started a multi-year research program to gain insight into migrant workers' own experiences of their position in the Netherlands. In addition to this 'satisfaction survey', Risbo will investigate whether new policy aimed at improving the situation of labour migrants has positive effects. The efforts resulting from the Roemer measures are also reflected in a better position for labor migrants.

Risbo also examines integration and developments in the areas of education, income, housing and security, as well as perceived discrimination, and levels of trust of both long- and relatively recently settled migrant groups.
