Introduction
We live in a time in which ecological, social, and societal systems around us are under increasing pressure. The Work That Reconnects (WTR) is a group process that supports people in engaging constructively with the emotions, questions and tensions that can arise in response to these societal challenges. At the same time, the WTR helps to strengthen a sense of connection, resilience and active hope.
During this workshop, you will be introduced to the core of this approach and experience the four stages of the spiral that lie at the heart of the work: from gratitude, to honouring our pain, to seeing with new eyes, and moving forward. We combine reflection, dialogue, and experiential exercises and we will explore the potential of this approach for higher education together.
For this workshop we will gather in a beautiful outdoor location at Trompenburg. The workshop will be facilitated by Sascha Bol:
“In the Work That Reconnects, I found a hopeful and empowering perspective on how we can meaningfully respond to the challenges and transformations of our time. Over the past six months, I have completed a facilitator development programme in this approach. I am excited to facilitate this first workshop and to create a space for connection, reflection and active hope.”
