Y. (Youri) Seidler MA
Youri Seidler MA has been a researcher at Risbo since 2010. He is involved in research into social issues and policy. Among other things, in 2016 Youri is involved in the study choice check for Erasmus University, research into the extent of registered and unregistered EU labour migrants in Rotterdam, and a process evaluation of early and pre-school education in Rotterdam. In 2015 he was project leader for the Social Inclusion Monitor, an investigation into the situation of Roma in the Netherlands, and he conducted research into the Buurtcirkel (“'key ring”) methodology. In 2014 Youri worked on the Rotterdam Risk Groups monitor, and joined Afke Weltevrede in researching the self-organisation of EU labour migrants in Rotterdam. With Tom Tudjman he conducted a case-study investigation into successful interventions within the framework of the 'Beter Presteren' (perform better) educational policy.
Youri Seidler studied History at Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduating with a dissertation on the evolution of Rotterdam's prostitution policy in the nineteenth century.
