drs. P. (Paul) van Wensveen
Paul van Wensveen has been working as a researcher at Risbo since 2010. He studied Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. His specialisation is quantitative research, based on both self-collected data and on existing secondary data files. He has experience in research regarding education, safety, migration, and the integration of ethnic minorities. Among others, he was responsible for the development and execution of the Monitor Aanpak Risicojongeren (approach to youths at risk) (2009-2013) commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, and the monitor Rotterdammers van Antilliaanse en Marokkaanse afkomst (Rotterdammers of Antillean and Moroccan origin) (2007-2014) for the municipality of Rotterdam. For the EUR he worked on a number of programmes investigating the effects of introducing the policy 'Nominaal is Normaal' (nominal is normal). Paul is currently working for the municipality of Rotterdam on developing a basic teaching monitor. This monitor is aimed at following individual students in Rotterdam South over a number of years.
