dr. D. (Dennis) de Kool
Dennis de Kool has worked as a researcher at Risbo since September 2008. Among other things he focuses on the research themes of policy monitoring and innovation in public administration, including the authorities’ use of social media and big data. In his leisure time he works on a thesis on the sculptor Jan Baptist Xavery. Dennis de Kool studied public administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He then became an official for the Custodial Institutions Agency. In 2007 he graduated at Erasmus University Rotterdam with research into the effect of monitoring on intermanagerial relationships. For a postdoc he conducted research into the effect of GIS-oriented monitors in organisations’ learning processes.
